A branch of the National Council of Churches, we have been rooted in the Greater Washington region for more than 100 years — welcoming every church that shares the call to serve.

Cultivating dialogue, prayer, and shared worship across Baptist, Methodist, Episcopal, Catholic, Orthodox, Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), and independent traditions.

Connecting pastors and lay leaders with grants, training, and mutual-aid networks so no congregation serves alone.

Community Gatherings

Come as you are.

Prayer vigils, film screenings, and fellowship across the region. Every event is open to any church, denomination, or neighbor who wishes to join.
